i swear i posted a question on here late yesterday.. but when i came on today and went into my history, it wasn't there. i did a search and nothing... would it get pulled.
long story short. my mother commented about how my photographer didn't do any table pictures.. i had no idea what she was talking about and told her 'i've never heard of doing that'.. she got that 'ARE YOU SERIOUS' look on her face (ps- she still thinks weddings from 1972 are the coolest thing )
anyway, she said that you're supposed to have the photographer follow you to each and every table and ask the ppl at that table to gather around you and take a picture.
again.. I've never heard of this or seen this done... have you?
eta- after posting this, think that maybe I never posted the one I typed out last night... things got a little crazy at my mothers... so now I think that I left a screen open at my mothers house explaining that she's a crazy lady...

I didnt do this at all. I feel like it was done back in the day but not so much now.
My photog went around to each table and took pics, but not with DH and I
Same here but I requested them. I like table pics, I know they are old fashioned but oh well.

LOL maybe im from 1972.. bc i did that...
a couple of my husbands family members made a big deal about getting pics with him so he wanted to cover all bases and asked if we can go aroound to most tbles and take group pics..
those who were not at the table at that pt. did not take a pic.
I never heard of it either but when DH and I started making our rounds the photog aske me if I wanted him to take formal pics of us with every table or if I wanted candid shots. I told him to take candids as we went around. (They didn't follow us to every table)
My mom was the same way! She wanted table pictures and she told us 'this way you can look back and see everyone that was there'. We told the photographer to not do it because we hated them and were too staged. Well we ended up getting some so my mom was happy but he didn't do all the tables so my mom FREAKED! I feel your pain!!!
about the computer open and HOPEFULLY she doesn't see it!
My mother is forcing me to do this so that we remember all the old farts who were at the wedding....me, personally...I'm against it, I'm going to have pictures of people dancing and if you didn't make it in a picture that you weren't important enough.
Can you tell I'm tired of the wedding planning and want it done already?
My mom wants us to take table pictures, but not with us in them. She just wants the photographer to go around and take pics of everyone at each table.
Side Note: My dad is in every table picture at my uncle's wedding. He followed the photographer around and jumped in each picture so it looks like he was sitting at every table.
