This may be a dumb question but... traditionally whose side does what? I always thought the groom's side does the Eparty, but then my boyfriend said its opposite.
Not that tradition is right by any means, just curious. TIA

I am not sure about the e-party, but traditionally, the RH dinner is payed by the grooms' parents.

FH parents hosted our e-party...and my parents are paying for the wedding and Im pretty sure the Reception Dinner...thats usually the tradition in our culture (Indian)

Traditionally brides' parents host the first e-party and then others can follow (if they occur). But I think it really doesn't matter these days. My parents hosted our NY one and then the GM/friends down here (VA) hosted the second one. J
