Just thought I would let you girls know that we successfully got our money back today from the RH that we cancelled. We just needed to change the location and since the wedding is a year away we were hoping that the hall wouldn't give us a hard time......BUT they tried. They said they were holding us to the contract amount. But when I notified them of the fact that I was aware of the Suffolk County Law and would turn the case over to Suffolk Consumer Affairs....they backed right down and sent a check out right away!! So if any of you are ever faced with this problem.....don't be afraid to stand up for your rights!!! It's your money!!

Thanks everyone....yes it is a big relief to be done with this. Now we can enjoy planning my daughter's wedding at a much better place.
