Has anyone tried to negotiate their contract with regards to price per plate with RH after they signed?

im pretty sure once its in writing, its a done deal. you may be able to negotiate the add-ons though..

Re: RH Contract
our rh would let us cut some things to lower the ppp if we wanted to (like getting rid of one of the stations at the cocktail hour)

Re: RH Contract
Once the contract is in writing, it's a done deal ! but if you want extra (add on ) you can def. negotiate the price.

Re: RH Contract
I did ...
Increased my min and get $10 off the per person and also some extra's .
I made it seem like I was basing the number of invites on the discount

Re: RH Contract
This is what I'm hoping to be able to do as well!
I think due to the economy alot of the places are willing to negoitate as opposed to losing the $$ all together, that's what I'm hoping anyway... There are also still alot of places NOT booked for my date, which is June 26, 2010, so I'm going to TRY to use that to my advantage...
Any pointers will help ;)
TIA

Re: RH Contract
OH NO! =(
What RH are you using?
I am hoping b/c mine isn't 'too popular' they may want a discounted price as opposed to no price?
I might just be living in an unrealistic fantasy right now?!

Re: RH Contract
So I talked to my RH and they are going to lower the price, I'm going in on Sunday to go over everything :)
What a HUGE relief.

Re: RH Contract
It might be hard because everything is set in writing already, but I have read that a lot of girls get things thrown in when they have their final meeting with their RH. Also, if your RH has showcases, sometimes they do raffles for upgrades

Re: RH Contract
It doesn't hurt to ask... I always do. Some RHs were more accommodating than others. Always ask!!!! I love negotiating. Surf Club wouldn't budge.

Re: RH Contract
I think it doesn't hurt to ask. I'm too chicken to do this sort of thing. See what add-ons they can throw in if they wont budge on the pp pricing. i should listen to my own advice.

Re: RH Contract
Don't be chicken! There is no harm in asking. You'll be surprised!! Ask 'is this is the best price?' 'is there someway we can get this price lower?' and look them in the eye.
