RH credit if not getting a cake through them?

does anyone know how much $$$ you save if you don't end up getting the cake through the RH? my RH uses Dortoni (i love the bakery, but upgrading to a custom cake is very expensive and their non-custom options are bleh)

TIA

I think it varies from RH to RH but be aware that most of them will give you a credit but then charge a 'cake cutting fee' which usually takes up the entire credit...so really, you dont get money back lol

some don't give you the $$ back per sey, they will substitute it for something else..
ex: they gave us the choc fountain instead of the cake....some do extra passed goodies at CH etc

agreed. I highly doubt you will get $$ off your total price - just some extras like Depoc said.

I have a similar siuation that I need to figure out because our package includes free centerpieces of roses from their preferred vendor but we are not using neither the preferred vendor nor their centerpieces. I would actually still like to get the roses for some else I am planning on doing but I have to find out if I can do that.
