I need your help. My fiancee and I just started looking at RH this weekend and we went and saw North Ritz Club, Fox Hollow and Jericho Terrace. We want a Saturday night, and the only place that would offer that to us with our low min is Fox Hollow, however I really love things about all 3.
Any thoughts, comments, opinions, or further information would be greatly appreciated.
fox hollow is amazing. we are booked with them and couldnt be happier. go with what's in your heart

Re: RH Decisions
I would go with the one that makes your heart flutter!!! But if your mininum is very low, I would consider switching to another night in order to get the RH you want...for a Saturday night most RHs want higher mininums unfortunately. You may have to consider weighing whether having the RH you really want on a night other than Saturday, vs having your wedding on a Saturday night in a RH that wasn't your first choice is more important. Good luck

Re: RH Decisions
I´m overseas so I haven´t seen these places in person but I hear that Jericho Terrace has a similar vibe as Leonards. If that is the case you may want to look into it. They guarantee as low as 50 and their prices are a little lower as well.

Re: RH Decisions
I'm myself torn between Jericho Terrace and Swan Club. I really like JT and they are nicely priced. You may want to consider changing your day to a Thursday, which is allegedly the new Friday, as a lot of places are offering the lowest prices on Thursdays.

Re: RH Decisions
I'm obviously biased towards North Ritz They've been nothing but wonderful with us so far, and I've heard only wonderful things about them and their service. I'm VERY happy with my choice there and have no doubt that my wedding will go just as planned with the NRC staff behind me.

Re: RH Decisions
I went to Jericho Terrace before booking at North Ritz and the decision was based on the outdoor area, one wedding at a time, and overall look and feel of the venue. Personally, FH and I loved the fact that we were the only wedding going on and that we could have our cocktail outdoors if we wanted to. Jerico Terrace is beautiful but for us, as soon as we walked into North Ritz, and after meeting the staff, we booked!!
You guys should make a list of pro's and con's for each place. We have a book that listed each hall we visited, what we were getting from each place for the price, etc.......I must say that the page for NRC is blank, since we didn't need to even compare with the other halls!
Best of luck and make sure you both love the place since it will be your special day!!!

I have to agree with this post. Maybe you should sleep on it and make a decision tomorrow. Another other option if it is in your budge go back and make a deal with the hall by adding an additional item to reduce your head count guarantee.

Re: RH Decisions
We looked at Jericho and Fox Hollow also. Jericho Terrace was beautiful. Fox Hollow is a Scotto Brother hall and you can't go wrong with them. I would suggest making sure that Fox Hollow is The One before you book. Maybe you should look at some other places before you decide. We saw about 12 places before we decided on Chateau Briand and it was the 2nd place we saw. Then every other place we saw didn't compare and we knew we made the right decision. What is your minimum? FM me if you want details/pricing for other RH's. In the end, go with your gut feeling. Good Luck.

Re: RH Decisions
yeah we were deciding between north ritz & jericho terrace... we went with jericho terrace for a lot of our own reasons though. What you have to remember is that its your wedding day and no matter which one you pick - its gonna be the best day of your life! They're all beautiful places so if its the cost or anything else that pushes ur decision, you know its gonna be perfect no matter what! :)

Re: RH Decisions
I visited all three and chose North Ritz Club, but they are all beautiful. I really don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I would picture all three in your mind and try to see yourself dancing, cutting the cake, etc. and see what place makes you feel the most excited. I hear ya about minimums! I have a low minimum too (140). That's why I went with a Friday night because we couldn't make any of them on a Saturday.

We went to a wedding at Fox Hollow last year and it was great! The food is amazing there! My friend who got married there was very happy with the service. Go for it!!

Re: RH Decisions
we used Larkfield Manor and it was wonderful. they have a second smaller room that holds up to 120 so you may be able to book that on a Sat nite with a small minimum.
I have pics and a slideshow in my video lib showing details of the place if that might help you.

Re: RH Decisions
We originally wanted a Saturday night wedding. However, all the RH I called wanted at least a 200 minimum. We knew we would not make that. So, we decided to have a Saturday day wedding where we only needed a minimun of 150.

Re: RH Decisions
The smallest room at the Fox Hollow (called garden pavillion I think?) is GORGEOUS. I wish I were having fewer people so I could have it there!
