Hmm maybe to narrow it down a little do either you or FH have a preference for atmosphere or type of cuisine??

I'm having mine at Mario's in Setauket.

Other options:
Three Village Inn - Stony Brook, they have private rooms in many sizes for you to reserve.

Danfords on the Sound - Port Jeff, I've heard great things about them and the view would be spectacular.
