RH help again?

Good Morning Ladies! In the past I have asked you help with locations of reception halls that offered continuous cocktails instead of the traditional sit-down dinner. FH and I have been back and forth between a destination wedding and having one here. We are thinking maybe here since the economy isn't doing so well and it wouldn't be fair to ask our family and friends to come up with such an expense during these times. So I would like again the names of any places that offer the continuous cocktail and as for the places that offer the all-inclusive do you ladies know if that price includes Saturday nights during any specific months? We are pretty flexible, of course would love the warmer weather and are looking for next year. thanks for your help. Hope you all have a great day!!

I’m not sure what your budget is but mediterianine manor in Patchogue, which very very affordable does a cocktail reception for like 3000 for I believe 75 people, and there all inclusive is for prime dates and sat I think it starts at 7999 for 100 people with everything dj, limo ect, you can check out their web site and meet with them they were very nice my FH loved the place. Looking back i wished we booked there we are spending a lot more, then budgeted. I went there for a x-mas party and the food was good, not the best but great for the money, and i have heard awesome reviews on here. http://www.medmanor.com/

What do you mean by the continuous cocktail wedding??? arent all weddings continuous cocktail?? am i having anothe brain fart????!!!!

I think most RH's would do a continuous cocktail if you wanted them to? You could always find ones that you like and call up and ask if that's an option before visiting.

LOL My FH wants to have the whole reception be like one big cocktail 'hour'. Instead of having the cocktail hour moving into another room and then having a sit down dinner he just wants to do the whole night like the cocktail hour. I know several places offer this but forgot which ones and wasn't sure if it was a difference in price.

A lot if not all places offer Cocktail Receptions. Usually held in afternoons or Fri Sun evening after 8pm in off peak months. Check out Swan Club, Med manor, Brentwood CC, Beach Club Estate, Douglaston Manor, Fox Hollow & Crest Hollow. You can also check Irish Coffee Pub and other good restaurants for pricing.
