I just came across this website and I'm sure it'll be a huge help in the wedding planning process.
We're still looking for a RH but we fell in love with the North Ritz Club. Unfortunately, due to both of our jobs we have a limited time window in which we can get married...and we really don't want to wait another year. NRC only has one day available and we could probably make it work but it is definitely not the most convenient time for us. We've already seen 22 places and this one was way above the rest. Can anyone recommend other places that are similar to NRC? We loved the indoor/outdoor cocktail area and the large spacious reception room.

We originally thought that we'd love the style of the NRC and then ended up booking Woodbury Country Club after we saw that one. Not sure if you checked that one out, but I def recommend it.

altho they will not compare to NRC..fh and i almost booked there they are also more expensive , with the exception of woodbury cc

I agree with the other girls, we got married at NRC and it was incredible, but our 2nd choice was woodbury cc. I thought the grounds were beautiful and heard the food was good.

HORRIBLE service at the Woodbury country club when I had an appointment to look at the facility. After 45 minutes of waiting we decided to leave. If you have an appt with someone, don't be rude and make them wait because poor service now makes me think I will have poor service at my wedding.

And Girogios is booked through Nov of 2012. Not sure your timeframe but no summer weddings available for 2012.

The Woodlands? I THINK its a 1 wedding at a time venue. Only a few miles down the road.

i'm getting married at the woodlands and yeah, it's not far from NRC...i actually looked at NRC before I booked woodlands, and the woodlands has bigger grounds and is very beautiful...check it out, you might like...it's on the oyster bay golf course.

My best friend got married at the NRC and my sister got married at the Watermill. They both have a spacious ballroom with a huge marble dance floor. The Watermill also has a beautiful outdoor cocktail area. Might be worth checking out if you haven't already

Wow that really sucks.. I'm sry you had a bad experience. They have been awesome for all my appointments and even have champagne and drinks for us... before and after we booked!

Fox Hollow? Not sure if you are open to more that one wedding at a time but they have a lot of dates still open and the new room (The Somerly) is really nice. Look on their website.
