Hi ladies a friend of mine wants a low key wedding and wants to do it at a nice restaurant with a pretty private room - suffolk or nassau - any suggestions..... maybe $35-$45 PP. Thanks!
Try Domenicos in Levittown. I had my e-party there. I had a smaller room but I remember seeing a really nice big room in the back that accomodated more people. Also, Singleton's in Bethpage may be an option too. HTH!

la piazza in merrick has a nice private room next to the restuarant... very nice and if i remember correctly pretty afforable...
I second Filomena's in Franklin Square... best food ever and it literally does not stop coming out.
Seventh Street Cafe in Garden City has a private room downstairs. We had FFIL's surprise 50th birthday party there and it was a great time.
maybe you could do a search for places people had their showers or rds? i know theres a lot of threads with lists..you might even want to ask some of the 09ers
