Harbor Links is terrible!!! (sorry to anyone getting married there, just my opinion). I went to a wedding there and it was the absolute worst food I have ever eaten. All of my aunts/uncles still talk about how terrible that wedding was

The Royalton is amazing, nothing bad to say about that place.. Kind of expensive though

The woodlands is beautiful and you wouldn't have to worry about finding a place for pics because it's just gorgeous. The ballroom isn't that great though and you can't see the dancefloor because the room is a rectangle and the dancefloor is in the middle. At my friend's wedding, we couldn't see a THING and had to keep getting up to see what was going on on the dancefloor. Food was amazing, grounds are amazing, ballroom stinks though

Never heard of the Sterling so I can't help you out there

To be honest with you, I was turned off by the Woodlands when I visited. I did not like the ballroom at all (for the same reason as above, it is rectangular and so awkward.) I also did not love who I met with and who gave me the tour. I felt like she was unprofessional and was telling me what to do and was completely out of line. (She went on and on about how I should do first glimpse with FH before ceremony so I don't waste my cocktail hour, and also that I shouldn't choose a dress with buttons down the back because she sees all these girls choose them and it's a big PITA).

i also noticed things like some missing sconces and some cracked paint which bothered me.

I also thought the price she quoted me and the minimum was a bit high for the time of year I am looking for.

However, I have never gone to a wedding there - this is all based on first impression during my visit. I know some family friends who are planning on marrying there and they are thrilled.

Also, I called The Royalton for preliminary pricing and just thought it was way too out of my budget, and then there were some add-ons. I've heard it's gorgeous though!

If I am thinking of the correct Sterling I believe that is more of a place to have a sweet 16. I am pretty sure I went to a bunch there as a kid. I don't know of anyone having a wedding there. I have heard good things about the Royalton but have not visited. THe woodlands is beautiful & the food was very good. I never attended a wedding there BUT I did enjoy the event I was there for. Hope this Helps!

I agree with you about the woodlands. Except I didn't think the food was amazing. It was good, but I've had better. I wasn't a huge fan of the cocktail hour either.

I have been to the Royalton for a wedding, and it was great..everything about it! I have only visited the Woodlands and it was beautiful!

I went to a wedding at The Royalton and it was AMAZING. Everybody had a great time.

Never went to Harbor Links, but it was SIL's second choice and my mom STILL raves about how good the food was when she went to a tasting there with SIL.
