My FSIL just went to Fox Hollow over the weekend and for August 2013 she was quoted $89 for a Friday night and $115 for Sat. Not including tax and gratuity.

they are such jerks they wouldnt come down $5 in nov to $86 for us when we tried to book 2 years in advance but now they are cheaper on a fri night in august!

I totally know where your coming from, its a beautiful place, but they gave me ASTRONIMICAL numbers for saturday nights in october and november, I'm not sure why, I felt as if they totally judge you and give you numbers they think you'll pay...like I said beautiful venue and I've heard nothing but good things just their numbers are so up and down with different people..:(

GRRR!!! LOL we figured the #s based on our top 2 contenders and figured more PP for fox hollow since we wouldnt need limos & such.... still didnt work. I'm glad tho, because afterwards i read reviews and realized that my venue has NO bad ones and Fox hollow cant say the same. but it is such a nice place to have a wedding- especially a winter wedding! and i would love to have some more of their crab quesadillas.... LOL

That's crazy. Fox Hollow quoted us $89pp in JANUARY for the Somerley room. If they're charging the same amount in August and January there's something fishy going on over there!

i'm not totally sure, but i think i heard fox hollow charges different prices for different rooms. i could be wrong, but that might explain the extreme price difference.

yeah we were qouted really high for all their rooms, like 130 pp and up..in off season!!!!!

We're paying $96pp for a Friday night in October, which I think is extremely reasonable since October is now a fairly popular month. I have had nothing but fantastic service from them. Our wedding is in 4 weeks so I'll let you all know how it goes!

I agree! Price sounds reasonable.
I'm getting married next Oct. and that is what my photographer was telling me. October is BIG.

A small piece of advise, make sure you research each venue, just because it has the wording country club in the name does mean they are all equal, some clubs are really catering venue and not true country clubs

FH and I looked at the Water's Edge for a friday night wedding in Sept. 2013 and it was something ridiculous (125+ pp) not including the $3-5k fee for using the space. I would stay away from them - the views are dynamite but the surrounding area is very industrial and the interior of the space is in some disrepair. Hope this helps!
