RH search
I'm still in the process of finding a RH...so far i've visited:
Fox Hollow: loved the shape of the ballroom and the outdoor patio for the cocktail hour. I know the food is great here--i've been to a wedding there.
Crest Hollow: Beautiful grounds, cocktail hour by the pool is unique ...great if the weather is in your favor
Floral Terrace: absolutely loved it! everything looked great...beautiful ballroom, huge bridal suite, menus look great, one party a night...i like the idea of my guests being the only ones there
Garden City Hotel: very beautiful but price range was more expensive than what i was looking for.
Terrace on the Park: Lots of parking space for guests! great view.... i didnt like the layout of the ballroom..the dancefloor isnt centered, i had my HS prom there sooooo i think that may be affecting my decision also!
Astoria World Manor: recently renovated grand ballroom. Did not like the mirrored walls or bathrooms.
Villa Barone Manor: loved the ballroom, great entrance for the bride and groom! (elevator that comes up from the middle of the dance floor), from all the reviews i've read -- this place has great food. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Chateau Briand: beautiful grand ballroom, liked the outdoor area for cocktail hour--very art deco-miami style--if thats ur style this place is great.
I also checked out a loft in L.I.C. but there was only one bathroom...not good for 300 guests!!
I think we only have about 2 more to see before making a decision....cant wait to book a RH and get started with all the other details of my wedding!!!
okay saw one more RH...Coral House...there's a state park right behind this RH with a Lake...its very pretty...you can have your ceremony out there and take lots of pics out there....the grand ballroom is beautiful and i love how big the dancefloor is! Two really big parking lots but no valet parking.
