ok, so i was reading a Leonard's thread on BHB and some of the girls were talking about upgrades they were doing, like adding food/entrees, premium liquor, wine bottles at tables-all for more $$$. Does every RH do these kinds of upgrades? I am freaking out because if I knew this, I would've chosen a RH that was more pp originally but that included everything with no surprise add-ons...Help!

as far as i know every rh does this. Some places have more included originally .
We added on a bigger package to our RH.

my RH has an upgraded menu, which has different choices and lobster in CH. they also offer choc fountain as an upgrade. but thats all im aware of.
we are getting the fountain, but no other upgrades. the food, as is, is already impressive. wine bottles are on the tables. and (i think) premium liquor is already provided.

Most all RHs give plenty of food/liquor. Add-ons are just that, add-ons, little extras or additions. I haven't upgraded anything because I didn't feel the need to.

Top shelf liquour and any entree(s) are both included with any package you book with my RH.

my RH had 3 main menus to pick from.
once you get into actually getting ready to sign a contract with any RH you can get them to bend a little. some people are better bargainers then others so yes the same RH may give different upgrades to different people.

After seeing 12+ places I learned that differnt places include differnt things in the 'basic'/'orignal', whatever you want to call it package. But, I def. think you can negotiate getting extras/up grades added in

The only thing that I see that you've listed as an upgrade that I am getting (and have seen listed) in basic packages is the premium liquor.
I do remember asking Leonard's about this when I was visiting, and while I can't remember exactly what their response was, it was different from most other places.

I think every rh has upgrade options..it doesnt mean you have to get them..i am prob not doing any upgrades as I was happy with what was included in the main menu...obv a losbster tree or full vienesse would be nice but it is way to $$$ for me

This makes me nervous because they told me there was only one menu and no upgrades...we are getting the chocolate fountain but it was included in our contract...I hope that I'm getting the menu I think I'm getting!

Every RH has a list of upgrades you can add on for extra cost...or try to bargain w/ them and get some added on for free or less $$

well we 'negotiated' for the choc fountain, so we got it too. but they were saying it was another $450 originally.
there is an upgraded menu. same amount of food just higher-end options. i know for CH, there would be lobster in the boat and there were other hot dishes. i cant remember what they are. i know there was a difference because when we went for food tasting, they had other options available...i think one was seafood paella...

All of the places we went offered upgrades our package included premium liquor. Our upgrades are Seafood bar, venetian hour and extra hour!

Every RH we looked at offered add ons... but most of the time it's not neccessary... there is always so much food that by the time the cake rolls out no one is even hungry anymore!!!
I'm pretty sure every RH has options for upgrade but you don't have to upgrade if you don't want - you can still get the basic menu...

Our RH has 'extras' to add to the menu/ night, however, top shelf liquor was all ready put in our contract along with other 'extras' that we negotiated in before we signed.
