HOW DO YOU KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE?! lol

Ahh Family, extended Family, out of state Family. Plus we had to add in a bunch from our Church community. We had to invite them all, kind of tradition amongst Greeks, Italians, Asians & Indians.

I have to ask you ladies with a guest list over 250 this question:

FH's mom is 1 of 8, those siblings had 4 kids each, those cousins have 27 cousins, those cousins have 18 cousins, etc. His family is ENORMOUS and SO close-knit, I love it. I can literally recite his entire guestlist of 250 people, I know all of them and literally see and talk to every single one of them. Crazy!

The Inn at New Hyde Park!! It's amazing... my sister got married there!

I come from a huge family too...we are on a small budget though so all the cousins and great aunts got cut out..so did my parent's friends. lol oooh well, we are doing this ourselves so we just can't have everyone!!
Sticking to around 100.

Inn at New Hyde park is a big room and very nice too.

RH Venue Big Enough... Our Guest list is massive

If I had a Chinese wedding banquet back home in CA, would be 600+. I am avoiding that and having something smaller and intimate here, only about 150-175 guests. Only inviting my immediate family and close friends. I was at my brother's wedding in Nov and they had 750 guests, it was crazy!

I'm getting married at the Milleridge Cottage, and they said their room fits 400-425... IMO, 375 comfortably... If you are inviting 400 people though, keep in mind that on average about 15-20% of your list will be no's. That side, you should expect to have about 60-80 no's on your guest list.

My cousin had 600 at her wedding and Crest Hollow was able to accomodate them. At the time it was between them and Brooville CC since they were members there. Hope that helps

there is no way I could even possibly like/know 750 people! lol

>500 capacity... (Also giving the best quotes)
EAST WIND (place to yourself with >400)
CREST HOLLOW (multiple room options incl outdoors, best quote)
MARINA DEL REY (Bronx, beautiful water-front)

400 max...
SandCastle (many add-on options, talk to them)
Larkfield Inn (new construction, great management)
Inn at NHP
Chateau Briand? (Outdoor Miami-style CH)
Lombardi's (great food from previous events)

We're finalizing between Sandcastle, Larkfield and our 1st choice Marina Del Rey! Wish us luck. 3 of the most beautiful places we've seen with genuine staff from our experience.
