Do you have to commit to the cake being offered in wedding packages? This seems to be common in the packages that RH's have emailed me, and I was just wondering: A.) are they any good or are they just your standard van/choc with buttercream; B.) can they be take out of the package or replaced with some other desser option?
Anyone who might know anything on this subject...please share your thoughts!!!

I'd ask the RH or contact that bakery directly. We used the cake provided by Dortoni's for Jericho Terrace and it was... orgasmic. Honestly, the best cake I've ever eaten. And we had our choice of two of any flavors Dortoni's offered. The part they were a little more inflexible about was the design. They had maybe 20 designs to choose from, most were kinda dated, but I chose one that was simple and it was very nice!
ETA: It was JT, not Dortoni's, who was infelxible about the design.

I hear that you can get credit towards a cake or that it can be switched to another dessert, but honestly.. you should check out their cake before making any decisions. I hear that the bakery for FH and CB is delicious. And.. apparently JT has an orgasmic cake!

I totally agree...Dortoni's is orgasmic!!!! I love that bakery, so that is a plus for JT...actually going there on Saturday to take a look!

See I'm not the only one who thinks so! The cake tasting was one of my fave parts of wedding planning!

I have a wedding at JT on the 30th. When I go, I'll try the flavors (even if there are multiple flavors) and make sure I give the best review possible!

Definitely keep me posted but I have yet to hear a complaint about them! I actually had my FH's 30th birthday cake done there and it was amazing...cookie and cream filling and they did a 2D of his car on top...so cool! I will try and post pix when I get home!
