girls can you help me find Ribbon that is thick enough to make a sash for a flower girls dress .... does craft store sell it or do i have to go to a fabric store?

Certainly go to Michaels...They have 2 inch ribbon there which will work! AC Moore is another option, then I would go to a fabric store.

They do have a lot...what color are you looking for?
They also have pattern ribbon too (I know you are looking for a solid) I am just not sure on the solid/pattern ratio. But still worth a trip if you haven't been there! They have a wedding isle and it is fun to look around.
