Ribbon around my pocketfold (with pic)

On my DIY pocketfolds, I wasn't having any luck with putting the ribbon the way that you typically see them on the pocktfolds so I tried this... What do you ladies think? Each tag will be personalized with each guests name. My mom says when she sees black, she thinks death but my invite is not so traditional anyways and I said we can cut the ribbon shorter on the ends so it's not sooo black.

Opinions, please!!! TIA!!

Thanks. I have an envelope that they will be put in. The tags kind of serve as like the inner envelope in a more traditional invite.

I wanted to do ribbon around mine too.... may I ask how you tried to do it and it didn't' work? I'm trying to figure out my gameplan for that at the moment lol

BLack is def NOT just for funerals anymore. My mom used to say that until I showed her how different it is now. Its a very old school way ya know?

I LOVE your invite! I Think it came out gorgeous! Great job!

If you dont mind can you FM me how you did the tag? I have to do a tag on my girls slippers and I am not sure how to go about that? Did you DL a program? How did you set up the page? I would appreciate any help you can offer or advice =)

I think it looks great! I would trim the tails of the ribbon though. I used black ribbon on my invites - my mom said the SAME thing. WHAT-EVER! I think they look classy, sophisticated and elegant. Nicely done! (Pics in my album if you wanna see!)
