About how much ribbon would I need to make a bow in the center of the program? I am making about 50 programs and not sure how many rolls to buy of 25 yards.

Wanda: Do you know Queens at all? I went to a place in College Point (behind the Target, BJ and Staples shopping center). It's in a little strip mall. It's a craft/party supply store. I can't remeber the name of the place. I got the ribbon for my programs for 99 cents there. I had paid $2.00 for the same one at Fabric Bonanza the day before

I don't know where College Point is but if you give me directions I will get there. How wide was the ribbon and how many feet in a roll?

Re: Ribbon for Programs
Ok, I just found a bag with one roll of ribbon left and the receipt (With the address of the place ). So the ribbon is 10 yards and the width is 1/4' And you know what, I only paid .33 cents for them!! I got 6 of them for $1.98
The name of the place is called the Rag Shop and it's located in the White Point Shopping Center at 132-23 14th Ave. College Point. The number is 718-357-1760.

Re: Ribbon for Programs
I have been in that Rag Shop. DUH!
I am looking for ribbon that is 7/8' wide. I am seeing it on ebay for about $7 including shipping and insurance for a roll of 75 feet. That is even cheaper than Papermart which is the cheapest I have found.
Forgot to mention that you got a great deal on that ribbon girl!!
