Ribbon for the wedding cake...

Where is everyone getting it from? It's not regular ribbon and I have looked in both Michaels and AC Moore and have not found it.

My bakery provided it for us and as far as I could tell it was a regular ribbon

Our RH assured me they could make a ribbon out of buttercream that matched the BM's sashes (I provided them with a color swatch) -- it came out perfect, color-wise (and taste-wise)

My bridal manager did say we could give them regular ribbon if we wanted. Did they tell you to get special ribbon to give them or are you just assuming?

They (bakery) cut me a piece of the ribbon and by the time I got home, I lost it. I did manage to feel it and it seemed more textured than a ribbon around a gift box. It feels like one where you would use a sissor and make twirly ribbons. Hope that makes sense. They said that I needed to use this because the other soft ribbon would mess the cake up due to the cream.
