How have you affixed your ribbon onto your pocketfold without the ribbon getting all bumpy from the glue?

Me...i used satin ribbon with double sided tape...not glue dots and i added a rhinestone embellishment. I will try to see if i have any pics to show you.

I too used these very tiny double sided tapes to affix the satin ribbon to my invite. You can find them in most craft stores.

Believe in me it will stick! I messed one up and put it crooked and I had to throw that invite out because when I pulled it out it ribbed the vellum from the cardstock..lol..so just be extra careful to put it straight before you stick it the invite itself and do not press down too hard or it might come out crooked. Get the ones that are already pre cut it saves you alot of time. Good Luck!!

Mine has slits in it, so I am threading the ribbon through it. Try an exacto knife and make a slit on one, see if that works.

I think this may be 'photo squares.' They are little white double-sided sticky squares that you can find in the scrapbooking section.

Yup that is where I found them..lol...They were very helpful and the salesgirl recommended them when I showed her my invite and what i was trying to do with them.

Yea that happened to me with something i stuck onto paper and it ripped the entire paper lol

Are you wrapping the ribbon all the way through under the invite part on the inside (does that make sense?) or just wrapping a ribbon around it when it's closed? I'm trying to figure this out myself...
I was going to just close the pocketfold, and tie a ribbon around it, maybe stick it with a glue dot and then put a round sticker on it for a seal.... does this sound like it would work?

Im going to stick it around the pocketfold when it's closed but not under the invite..too lazy.lol
I put a piece of velcro on mine because the sticker may rip the pocketfold.
