Ribbon Store RAVE

I asked last week if anyone knew of a good place for ribbon in Queens/Manhattan. So, just as a follow up, I wanted to let you know about the place I found. They have GORGEOUS ribbon--all kinds and the staff is really helpful. It's called The Store Across the Street, 64 West 38th St. btwn 5th and 6th Aves.
There's another one around the corner on 6th Ave btwn 37th and 38th, but it's so big, it's overwhelming. Store Across the Street is def. the way to go!

Ooh, thanks for this info!!! I have been looking for some ribbon in a specific color and haven't been able to find it.

How were the prices?

I love The Store Across the Street. They have a lot of beautiful stuff. Tinsel Trading, which is across the street and a few doors down, has a lot of vintage ribbon, and a lot of vintage trims and silk flowers and other things. And, yeah, the other one you're talking about, M&J Trim, on 6th Avenue, can be a little overwhelming, but I love it too. If you're looking for something a little less common, it's the place to go. Such as, I want yellow ribbon, and there's less of that than pink or white or cream. I need to go ribbon shopping, and soon--I'm using a lot of ribbon in my wedding. Because I love it! The personalized ribbon I ordered online should be showing up soon...
