Ribbon Wands

Has anyone been to a wedding with ribbon wands (instead of throwing rose petals or bubbles)? Do they go over well with the guests, or do they feel silly waving them around? i'm wondering if i should make them or just skip it... i thought they might look nice in pictures.

Does anyone have pictures of ribbon wands in action?

I do love the look of ribbon wands and I was originally going with that...but my sister came up with the idea of waving navy and white penants since we have a Yankee theme.

There's lots of threads on how to do them, if you need help!

Thanks for the info!! Sounds like a fabulous idea to match your theme! We definitely won't be using Yankees pennants since FH is a Mets fan!
And if we were at your wedding I bet he wouldn't even wave the Yankees pennant! lol Men!!
