Coldasice, Ali did them.

I did them...I actually ordered them through my job, but they were on thefavorshop.com and myweddingfavors.com too.

Do you want some unsolicited advice? Don't do them! Thank God I paid half price for the two sets, otherwise I would have been really pissed. It's such a weather contingent item, and we had a monsoon on our day so we couldn't even walk outside the church, and the guests took them from the basket, looked at them like they had 5 heads, then ran out to their cars and left. Total waste. Our parents and BP used them for their entrances to the reception, so we got *some* use out of them, but definitely not worth it. I'm very upset about that, just another annoyance of how the weather effected my day.

It's definitely a hedge your bets kind of item...if you use them, I pray you get nice enough weather to actually use them!

I think I paid around $50 for 2 kits to make 50 wands each...but this was wholesale, so it would have been $100 in actuality.

Thanks Ali - I appreciate the help. I thought they came all assembled also. Then I saw assembly required. I think I'll skip it.

Another option that gives a similar look in pictures could be the streamer throws. We used those -- no assembly required and the guests got a big kick out of it. It was such a fun moment.

We used streamers also. They were one of my favorite things about the wedding......

They won't let me do streamers

Why not? They were one of the only things my church let me do. The ones we got stay attached to the cup so there's no mess to clean up. One of my friends was in charge of making sure there was a garbage bag handy for everyone to throw their empty cups.

We weren't allowed rose petals, birdseed, rice, etc., etc.

Re: Ribbon Wands????

My cousin had ribbon wands for her wedding, and they look great in pictures. The guests were told what to do with them, and really pretty pictures were taken with them.

It was a DIY project, and came out really pretty. It was in Jan though, so everyone lined up inside because it was freezing out and the church was plenty big for a nice long line
