I started making the ribbon wands, but I would also love to have leaves thrown... Is it to weird to have both??? or should I stick to just one????

I would stick to one too. Think of the classic photo of you and DH coming out of the church: ribbon wands plus leaves might be too busy looking and distracting. The emphasis should be on you two.

I would do the ribbon wands..
I am not a fan of leaves being thrown at me.......I think it would look like ONE BIG GIANT leaf fight..

Re: Ribbon Wands & Leaf Cones
We had our guests throw leaves and it was very nice. If you don't use an enormous amount, it does not look like a giant leaf fight.
Nope, we used fake leaves. Real leaves crumble and they may be dirty. Also we did a 'fly' test and the fake leaves flew a lot better.

Thank you I went all over. I went to Target, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Patchogue Floral, and Michaels. I bought the bulk of them from the craft stores. I combined all of them and it looked so pretty with all the different types of leaves.
A little tip: I bought the leaf garland and just cut the leaves off the garland when I couldn't find enough:)

Thank You sooo Much!!!!! Last year Rite Aid had some packages on clearance for .69... So I bought a few just in case I decided to do it...
I don't know what to do... I like the ribbon wands and started making them, but I love how your pics came out with the leaves!!!! Such decisions!!!!!

You could do leaves with red silk rose petals. I think that would look pretty.

Can you post a pic of the leaf toss?
I have to admit that before I saw the pictures, I thought tossing leaves would look ridiculous. But since seeing your pics I LOVE IT!!! We're getting married at the end of Sept. and I think that would be such a great idea!! I just figured we'd use rose petals, but now I'm totally re-thinking that idea!
Oh and as for the question posted... I would do one or the other. I think both would be overkill.
Thanks!

Re: Ribbon Wands & Leaf Cones
My SIL did the wands, and IMHO I thiought it was a little ridiculous. If you can do a toss, I would do that first.
Thanks for the advice on where to find leaves, I was also told not to do real, even when you can order them from your florist, as they can stain your dress....
