Wow thats crazy!!! What were the findings though? Because they thought that the man would change? Or they believed that it was their fault that they were getting abused? Thats very interesting Mary

I don't know; The last I talked to her was before Katrina, so I don't know if she still lives at the same address, or if she had to move. I have some personal knowledge of someone in my family who was abused, which is why I was talking to my friend about it. Fortunately, for the gal I know, it did not take 7 times to finally call it quits.
I even bought the following book, to help me understand, then gave it to the abused gal, and her ex-husband threw it away!!!!!!

He is completely disgusting. And if it's true that she went back, then next time he hits her, I have no sympathy.
I know that may sound cold-hearted, but this b astard put her in the hospital and messed up her face. If she goes back, she is beyond imbecilic, and is complicit in the situation. By taking him back, she is condoning his behavior. As a role model for young women, this is a complete disgrace, and she should be ashamed of herself.
