how do I keep him in? I think I may have to exchange it for a new one. It has only been a week and a half, but he has gotten out like 5 times. Today my hubby freaked when he was home alone with him and scared the you know what out of him. I actually thought it was funny!
I should have named him Hudini instead of Riley...and he is so proud of himself when he gets out.
What's a mom to do???

My dog does the same thing. SHe gets out of the crate, She unlocks it with her paw. My Fh said she should of name her abracadra instead of ABBY

Well I exchanged it for a new one yesterday...but last night he got out....he is just one smart puppy. He just figured out how to pickup the latch and slide it from the inside. I have to get a latch or locking device to keep it closed for his own safety when I am not home. He is one smart cookie!!!

You should get the kind of crate where you have to pick the door up a little to fasten it behind hooks and the slide the lever across. It's double safety. If we don't lock it right Baby gets out too.
