Where did everyone go to get your ring appraised? Who did you insure it with?

our jeweler where my ring came from gave us the appraisal with the ring when FH picked it up. My is insured under my parents home owners insurance. i believe a perfect circle has nice packages for insuring. hope this helps!

FH did all of that before the ring even left the jewelers and he has all of the paperwork so I actually have no idea. He insured it separately from our homeowners, I know that.

Mine came with an aprriasal. But I added it to my renters insurance as a rider

FH had my ring appraised when he purchased it by the Jeweler, and we added it to his parents home owners insurance. We did the same with our bands when we got them. It was pretty inexpensive too!

You can get your ring appraised from any jeweler. I got my insurance through a personal property policy. home owners and renters insurance cover your ring, but only if it's stolen from your house. The personal property insurance is great because it covers it if you lose it, get mugged, etc. I think i pay about $250 a year but it's all based on the what your ring is worth.

FH got mine appraised by the jeweler before it left the shop. We insured the ring with perfect circle, you need the appraisal to get the insurance.

My engagement ring came with all of the appraisal information for the center diamond and band.

My engagement ring was appraised by our jeweler (Sammy, a private jeweler at the Commack Jewelry exchange). It was appraised for about $2K more than my FI paid for it. We insured it with Jewelers Mutual for just over $100 a year. So worth it and it's covered for EVERYTHING including mysterious disappearance, theft, damage, and loss.

i forget the name of jeweler but in the lake success shopping center in New Hyde Park. It was quick, accurate, right in front of me & they cleaned my ring too. I'm adding it to my renters insurance through geico.
