Hi, I just got engaged the other day and my FW wants to get a better appraisal on our ring. Does anyone out there know of any companys out there that we can go to.

Congrats on your engagement!!!
We had my ring appraised in the diamond district in NYC. They have a lot of places you can do it there - 47th Street between 5th and 6th avenues.

Macy's Herald Square did the generous appraisal on my ring. No appointment, takes about 15 minutes, done right before your eyes. Never let the ring out of your sight.

Not sure where you are located..i used one in Garden City..all he does is appraisals...i was very happy with him & so were several friends...

I went to Bunty's on Rte 111 in Smithtown. Very nice and it's a flat $35 fee, unlike some other places that charge depending on the appraisal value.

o neils in patchogue they were 50dollars and also you should get ins. with jewelrymutual.com it is a $1 per every 100.

Do you just go to the jewelry department at Macy's and tell them you want an appraisal or is there a specific location???
