Would it be weird to have just a ring bearer? I would've LOVE to have both but thats going to happen. Would it be silly - need advise!!!!

Not at all. I've been to weddings with just a flower girl or just a ring bearer. I didn't think it was weird at all.

Crashing...I'm just having a ring bearer. I think it's fine..plus they serve more of a role in the ceremony than the flower girl in my opinion.

Definitely NOT

We don't have any small children in our family to be the ring bearer or flower girl. We were thinking of having our dog Zeus be the ring bearer!

We don't have a ring bearer, just two flower girls. I think you can do whatever makes you happy :)

Not at ALL! We were only planning on having a ring bearer when we first got engaged but then FSIL had a girl, so now we have both! Some people will have two RBs or FGs, some have none -- it doesn't matter at all!

just wanted to add, FSIL had two ring bearers and NO flowergirls

I'm having just a ring bearer- FH has a nephew and we're certainly not going to exclude him because we don't know any little girls!

its your wedding so you can have whatever you'd like!!! You can have a RB if you'd like :) :)

That's good to know for I wasn't sure if I can get a RB and a FG too and wasn't sure if it would be weird. Thanks for the input ladies.

As of now we have only asked 1 ring bearer. We haven't decided on flower girls because our church won't allow them to throw petals and it almost makes us say whats the point then? We still have time to decide, but we are perfectly fine with just keeping the ring bearer.
