Silly maybe but -for those of you that have a RB, is he actually carrying your rings? If so how does that work? The best man takes them? This seems a bit concerning now that I'm thinking for the spirited 4 year old that we chose. haha.

Ring bearer question - Long Island Weddings
My nephews are my RB's. They will each have a wooden box to carry down the aisle lol. I was afraid of the pillow!

Ring bearer question - Long Island Weddings
My nephew is 10 and he will carry the rings in a box my dad is making and then he will give the box to the best man when he gets down the isle. I probably wouldn't have a 4 year old have the real rings as who knows what they will do at that age.

Re: Ring bearer question
My sister had a ring bearer that was 2 and she used a pillow. The pillow had some kind of bow, she used extra ribbon and tied a bow (not knot) with the rings around the bow. The best man then grabbed the rings from the ring bearer. I don't remember if the best man grabbed the pillow or just the rings, but it was quick b/c the rings were tied in a bow.

Our RB is going to have 'fake' rings on it. The best man will be holding the rings. I wouldn't trust our RB with such expensive and sentimental values hahah!

When I was MOH at my sisters wedding (her RB was 2) I held the grooms ring and the best man held her ring.

haven't decided yet, we want to get RB a briefcase looking car that says ring security on it so I guess we could have him carry the real rings and then give the briefcase to the best man.

Ring bearer question - Long Island Weddings
Our ring bearer will be an unruly 3 year old who we will probably end up needing to drag down the aisle lol The Best Man will have the rings, he will just have a wooden crate that we will pretend has them.
