Ring bearers..Help! Tooo many nephews to choose from!!

Hi again...One major dilemna I am having is that I am close to all nephews, and very close to my sisters and brother. I have 6 nephews who are all around the same age, and who would ALL make great ring bearers(all between the age of (3-5)...I wish i could have them all do it, but I cant, and dont want to offend anyone(mainly my siblings) and hate the idea of having to pick one.. Anyone have any suggestions, or ideas to inlcude them in the wedding some other way?

I have three little boys in my BP. Only one will be holding the pillow. The other two are escorting their sisters down the aisle. The sisters are FG's. I am calling them Jr. Groomsmen even though they are RB age. It was just easier that way. If I had two boys, I would have had two pillows. You could always pick one boy to hold the pillow and the others on either side of him or even behind him. Just some suggestions.

hmm... if i were you, i definitely wouldn't want 6 ringbearers....my friend had 3 flowergirls and 3 ringbearers in her wedding- i was in the wedding party, and let me tell you taking pics was NOT fun!! trying to get kids that age to pose for pics- especially when there is a group of them together does NOT work.
i think i would just have the oldest nephew do it... and just explain to your siblings why you're doing it that way.... they're family, they should understand.... and if any of them get upset, they have bigger problems to deal with

I totally agree - this seems like the fairest solution.

There was a bride that just stated she was going to have a bunch of her little boy relatives come down the aisle before her ringing bells saying 'the bride is coming. the bride is coming.'

I think it's on the 06 boards, under what makes your wedding stand out.

honestly, i had a similar situation... i have 6 little cousins... i couldnt possibly choose between them for my flowergirl, so i asked all 6! In my opinion, they will all look super cute in the little dresses, and if some dont want to be in pictures, the dont have to be...

mine were slightly older (4 of them) we made the youngest the ring boy and the others carried up the gifts in church--they all wore tuxes and were in the pictures in front of the church but the 3 did not come to the inbetween picture location and were not announced at the reception----they were very happy with their role in the wedding! i know it is hard to choose--is one of them your godson? GL w/your decision!

put their names in a hat and get them all together and pick 1 or 2.

I am having 2 ring bearers.

I had to choose between 2 of my nephews, so I made the younger one the rb, and the other will escort my mother to her seat.

Feel your brothers and sisters out, maybe some don't want the kids to be in it, as they don't plan on bringing them so they can enjoy the day, that may knock some out, then if they all want in, I'd go with gathering everyone up and picking out of a hat.

between DH and I we had 6 nephews we wanted to be part of the wedding and all of them are the same age.; We asked the two oldest (6 years) to be ring bearers. We had the twins (age 4) escort my grandmother down the aisle and the other two (age 2 1/2 and 4) were my 'leaf boys' I had no flower girls and the boys scattered fall leaves down the aisle instead of flower petals.
