I wanted to start of the ring excahnge with somehting like this 'The perfect circle of a ring symbolizes eternity, gold is a symbol of all that is pure and holy...' buuut FHs ring is platinum. Any ideas on how I can change the wording so it sounds ok and still makes sense?

I would say lie but you're going to be in a church (or if you're getting married at your RH, you'll be in front of someone holy) so that would be wrong
....but then again I'm sure a little white lie wouldn't hurt anybody
