Ring guard turned my finger green!

My engagement ring is big on me and I didnt want to have it made smaller until the end of the summer (when I hopefully lose all the weight I want). So I went to a jeweler and got a ring guard put on....well it turned my finger green!! How do I get the green off?? Im going away for the weekend and now I am stuck with a stupid green finger.


But I did have a good laugh with this...I sent FH a picture of my finger on his cell phone while he was at work and he freaked out because he thought the actual ring turned my finger green. He was ready to go strangle the jeweler

Maybe you should consider the ring 'balls' to be placed in. Its made to fit you without having to cut the ring to size and gives more room for swelling in the warm weather and fits in the cold weather too.

This has made it a perfect fit.

I agree with getting the ring balls, I got them for my e-ring that's a half-size too big and it fits perfectly now!!!

And your jeweler can remove them in the summertime when you want to make the ring smaller.

ETS: As far as getting the green off, you'll have to take your ring off and just let the green fade back to your natural color.
