Ring Ins

Can you tell me what company you have your ring insured with. I've procrastinated for so long and I'm finally ready to start seriously looking into it.

I insured my ring under my parents homeowners insurance.

Under my renter's insurance - ALLSTATE. All that was needed was a faxed appraisal.

I'll try allstate, thanks. FH refuses to have the ring insured under homeowners so that's not an option, I don't know why but he's very funny about it.

I have a separate policy with CHUBB. It's pretty expensive, but very comprehensive. I believe it's rated on the value of the appraisal.

State Farm-easy-cheap and mostly hassle free. Go get your ring appraised, send it to them and they will bill you.

Thanks everyone, turns out someone from here works for State Farm and she's doing my policy for me now.

It only took me 10 months to do it.

Jewelers Mutual....they insure jewl without having to have a home owners or rental ins. I am paying very little for the year.

I just used the insurance my car is under - State Farm. I had renter's insurance so it was on there with that, but even after I cancelled they kept it on as a personal items insurance. Very inexpensive.
