Ring Insuranc?

I know this has been done before but I really need to get ring ins. FH owns a house but wants me to research all options. Does anyone know how I can find out about purchasing ring ins?

We have our ring insurance through Travelers (they also handle our renters insurance). Try giving them a call and see what information they can give you. I know that our rate with them is pretty good and they're a good company to work with. They reimbursed use the full $1400 it cost to restore my antique e-ring (the setting had a crack) within weeks of filing the claim. Good luck!

We have ring insurance as a rider to our apartment insurance with State Farm Insurance.

When I got engaged I was living with my Mom and she had it added to her homeowners policy. We are now looking into renters insurance and will add the ring to that policy.

we have Chubb. If you want to add in on to your homeowners insurance it's extra. I definitely recommend it. I got robbed a couple of months before my wedding and our wedding bands were stolen...

I work for SF. If you want, FM and I can explain ring insurance and how we write them. We write them seperate from a homeowners, therefore no need to have a Homeowners policy.

You need an appraisal or a receipt that describes your ring and the characteristics in order to get replaced, if ever needed to.

Like I said, you can FM me if you'd like.

I put in on my parent's homeowners insurance since FI and I both rent....can you put it on FH homeowner's insurance?

Chubb Insurance is great for this. They are a little pricey... but they give you cash value for your appraisal if you ever incur a loss.

Re: Ring Insuranc?

I just called my homeowners ins.co. and asked them what was needed to ins my e-ring. They said that Travelers usually insures the rings with the purchaser of the ring - FH! I was not happy with this as he doesn't own his own home yet, I am at my home more then his, and the ring is on MY finger not his! So she said to send over the invoice or the appraisal and she would forward it to the ins.co. and see what they say. I warned her that if my ring isn't added to my policy that I'm getting a new Homeowners policy that will insure my ring.
