Hey girls...who did you choose to go to for ring insurance that is reasonable? Trying to figure out if I should renew my policy with Travelors or if there is a better choice...Thanks!!

Re: Ring Insurance
i have jeweler's mutual, but may change it when we get homeowners insurance on our house, depending on which coverage is better. compare your coverage and premium to what other companies are offering to see who offers you the best deal.

Re: Ring Insurance
If you rent, check your renter's insurance as well.

Re: Ring Insurance
We go through homeowner's insurance. You can also go through your renter's insurance. Any company that you have insurance through (All-State, Travelers, etc) can offer it to you with your current plan.

Re: Ring Insurance
Jeweler's Mutual is good, if you have renters or home insurance they can add it as rider on your home / renter insurance.

Re: Ring Insurance
I liked Travelers - they were less expensive than JM but same coverage.

Re: Ring Insurance
We have Jewelers Mutual too and they're really good. In fact, I think my FH heard about them through our jeweler at Michael C. Fina. They're supposedly one of the best (if you don't own a house and want to tack it onto your Home Owners Insurance). I believe we pay $260.20 bi-monthly.

Re: Ring Insurance
I added a jewelry rider to my renters insurance. If you already have insurance on apt or house a lot of times it is cheaper to add a rider than to get a enitrely seperate policy through someone like JM

I think this is very true. We were just terrified about walking out of the jewelry store w/out any sort of insurance. Something I'd definitely like to get is renter's insurance until we buy a house & add a jewelry rider. Does it have the same coverage as a place like JM?

I got my insurance about 2 weeks after I got my ring....I have one policy for my car, apt and ring...when i added the ring it only went up a few dollars a month and yes the coverage is the same and a place like JM
