I plan to have mine insured. I think it is a good idea.

Re: ring insured?
I had mine insured, I guess it depends on the value. If it's inexpensive and it wouldn't be a hardship to replace than it's probably not necessary. The value of mine is on the high side and if it got lost or stolen it would be difficult to replace.

Re: ring insured?
I probably will not, but my ring is going to be very low priced and honestly, I have gemstone rings that cost the same. But my ring is definitely a lot more modest than most, and if I was getting bigger stones or it was over a certain price I definitely would.

Re: ring insured?
It depends. Relatively speaking, my wedding band was A LOT less than FH spent on my e-ring. If something happened to it, I would be devastated because it's my wedding band, but it wouldn't break the bank to replace.

Re: ring insured?
DH insured my ering when he bought it. We'll reevaluate whether it's worth it after the first few years are up when it comes time for another payment.
As far as my wedding band goes, I haven't and I don't plan to.
Don't get me wrong... I love my rings, but I just don't feel it's necessary.
I did take this great picture in the southern france sun though...
So so sparkly!!
