ring-less again vent :-(
As some of you may remember, i've had issues with my e-ring ...
in short:
-- i went to get it re-appraised and the woman told me that two side stones were not set properly
-- called the jeweler that FH bought the ring from (who's a family friend) and he said not to worry about it, that he would fix it ... but he couldn't make an appointment with us for another 2 or 3 months. fine.
-- 1 month later, one of the side diamonds fell out (grr)
-- FH called the jeweler and he said he'll fix it .... while there, we also asked him to re-size the setting and make it a quarter size smaller. i was ring-less for 3 days (![]()

-- got the e-ring back and not only was the 'fixed' stone STILL not set properly, but the ring itself was not a perfect circle (it was more of an oval now). The jeweler told FH 'yeah, i was meaning to mention that to you ... i'll fix it' ... well W.T.F. - why couldn't he tell us ahead of time rather than trying to get away with it?
so now this idiot jeweler has one last chance. he took my e-ring just now and will be re-doing the ENTIRE ring (getting a new setting and all). he said it'll take two weeks.
so now i'm 'naked' for two whole weeks![]()
if there's ANYTHING wrong with the ring this time, i am going to ask for the money back and we'll buy a ring elsewhere. it had BETTER be perfect...!!!
