Daughter, Donna just told me that boyfriend, Josh, went shopping today, and has since told her he got her something, and would she like it tonight or Christmas??? He already gave her an early Christmas gift, a digital camera, to take pics at his Brother's wedding, of which they were a part. So, she wasn't expecting any more gifts. They're going to be with his family members tonight, so I am curious if it's a ring. Donna said it was strange, because he went to shop supposedly, concerning a cell phone, but after shopping, not a word about a cell phone, only that he got her something. I'm doubtful, but I'll let you know!! Mary MOB

Well, I want my Daughter and Grandson's happiness. Donna and Grandson both love Josh. My Husband and I have a concern, because he tends to be distant sometimes, and Donna is a very sweet gal, very caring. She has been hurt in the past, and my Husband and I want to see better days for her. We are praying about it, so, yes, if she does get a ring, then, we will be happy for her!!!!!!! Because of what my Husband and I have seen Donna and Grandson go through in the past, causes us to be more sensitive, possibly overly sensitive about things. Mary MOB

Laura, sorry about the confusion. Debi is the Daughter getting married. Donna, is Deb's Sis, who's been waiting for a proposal, from her boyfriend of three years, Josh. We hear promising things, like his Mom asking Donna for her ring size, and a friend of Donna's who overheard a conversation between Josh and his friend/jeweler, concerning what he wanted to spend, etc. But then, Josh asked Donna to show him the ring she wanted, on the computer, and he told her he didn't like it, and besides, that wasn't what he planned to get her for Christmas anyway!!! ??? Donna does not want to force a proposal from him. So, when he told her he got her something today, there is some speculation.... this just in.... Big Disappointment!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He gave her pricey sunglasses!!!!!!!!! Oh me!!!!! I guess more waiting!! Donna is depressed now.Mary MOB

One never knows!! But I wish the boy would make up his mind!!!! Seeing my Daughter constantly disappointed about this upsets me!! But Josh is also a great kidder; Maybe he's got something up his sleeve!!! It wasn't in character for him to tell her he didn't like the ring she showed him; My thought was that he wanted to confuse Donna. What FH tells the woman he loves that he doesn't like the ring she's chosen???? And it was within his budget!!! I just have no clue!!!!!!! Mary MOB

Hi, Danielle!!!!! FSIL, Fred thought so too!!! Josh is a compassionate guy. He drives his cement mixer annually, in The Make A Wish Convoy. So, I don't think he's being intentionally hurtful, but Donna, and those of us who love her would like to see, hopefully in the near future, some kind of decision being made. Mary MOB
