i have found the pillow & basket that i absolutely love.
however the pillow is $54, not including tax & shipping.
the baskets are $40 each (i need 2), not including tax & shipping.
the best part is that FH & I love the cakes that are covered in fondant & then pipped in black.
i am going to estimate it costing me $200 to have these items. i love them but i don't know what the heck i am going to do with them after the wedding for that price. i know i can always try to sell them but knowing me i wont want to part with them.
idk in my opinion its a bit much..could you have a plain white pillow embroidered (sp?)?

for that price, i am going to end up have to go that route. i would also tone down the embroidery a little.

yes they are expensive, but if it was me i would first try to search for something similar but maybe cheaper (maybe someones selling tem on ebay??), and if i couldnt find them i would just get them, otherwise i know myself i would be thinking about them the whole time and wishing i just bought them lol, but thats just me

definitely try etsy. you can put up a custom bidding with pictures and tell them how much you want to pay....i did this for a few things and it worked out.

I think they are great looking items... but i would never spend that much on them... my ring pillow is $11 and my FG basket is $6...

i am the same way. when i showed my mom last night, she said if you can't find them at a better price then just buy them. otherwise you are going to make us all miserable the day of because you don't have what you originally wanted.

that's a great idea!! i never knew you could do that.
of course i don't want to pay peanuts because i know hand embroidering is a long, arduous task

I agree...you have some time so you should keep looking around. $200 is a lot for something that people will see for only 2 minutes.
Are you crafty? FG baskets at Michael's are only $20 or so and if you have a 50% coupon even better!! You might be able to pull something similar together for less than 1/3 the price!!
