dumb i know, but which ring is the one that goes on first, closer to you?? engagement or wedding?? Do you not wear your engagement ring to the wedding?? if the wedding ring goes on first does the groom take it off then put on the wedding and then reput on the engagement?? im alittle stumped

wedding ring goes on first.
The day you get married, move your engagement ring to your righjt hand then once the wedding band is on, slip on the engagement ring.

Wedding band goes on first because it is supposed to be closest to your heart.

My mom wear's her engagement ring first... but only cuz it's a little too big and it costs more than the wedding band - she's more afraid to lose her e-ring over her wedding band...
