can have a jeweler put in to make it fit??

They're just called balls, a jeweler should know what you're talking about. I had the jeweler put them on my e-ring.

They're called Tiffany balls. They won't change the size of your ring really. It's to make it just a smidge more snug on your finger and keep the ring straight so that it doesn't roll around on your finger.

I have em because though my ring is the right size it was coming off too easily, which made me nervous since my stone is a family heirloom!

just be careful! i was told that the 'balls' can eventually fall off leaving sodder marks behind....i went with a ring gaurd instead - and now if i ever have to take it off i can without resizing. at first i 'did NOT want a gaurd!' because i thought u could see it....but u really can't! and i'm so glad i did this as opposed to anything else

they're sizing balls --- recommended over a ring guard that can scratch your metal!!

ive been told the same thing (after i got the tiffany balls put in and i PANICKED ... my jeweler told me that isnt true, the inside of the band can be smoothed out IF they were to fall out, but they prob never will!

You can also just have the ring
re-sized, thats what I did....depending on how big it is on you, the balls or ring guard may look too pronounced.

my friend had balls put on her ring and they look bad. i think it's b/c her ring was WAY too big for her. maybe it was b/c she has super small fingers. there's another piece they use for sizing- ask about your options.

i had balls put on my ring for one main reason and i am extremely happy with my choice. you can't see them and you don't feel them. when i was getting my finger sized i didn't want the ring to be to tight so i got a quarter size too big. i got a four and a quarter, but should have gotten a four. so after i got the ring it started to turn on my finger bc it was a lil too big. i could have gotten it sized for free at the jewler, but he made a good point. since the ring is platinum you don't want to cut into it too many times bc it becomes weaker every time you do. so for a quarter of a size it wasn't worth it esp. if my fingers grow. that would be two times of cutting the platinum. so go for the balls.... it's totally worth it and trust me you cannot tell!!
