Ringbearer question

Ringbearer question

Hi ladies, my wedding is less than 3 months away and my cousin was supposed to come from France to be the ringbearer. My mom told me yesterday morning that he will no longer be able to come. She suggested that I find another little boy to be the ringbearer and gave me some suggestions. My problem is that because I have such a huge bridal party already (24 people) I don't feel like asking anyone else to be a ringbearer. In fact, I was thinking about having my 10 year old nephew (who is the Bible boy) to be the ring bearer instead or just not have a ringbearer at all. What do you ladies think? Is 10 years old too old to be a ringbearer or would anyone care that I don't have a ringbearer? Help!

Re: Ringbearer question

I don't think 10 is too old to be a ring bearer.

That being said, I also don't think anyone is going to notice if you don't have one. Especially since your BP is so large already.

Usually the RB is just for show and the best man carries the REAL rings down the aisle anyway. So just have the BM carry the rings. It'll be beautiful and fine, and no need to make the BP any bigger or invite people who aren't that close to you to be part of it.

Honestly I do not think anyone would notice that you do not have a ring bearer, but if you want to have your 10yr old nephew do it, I think that age is fine.
