my FH uncle sent us beautiful gold/platinum cartier wedding bands. i absolutely love them, but the rings dont really match my e-ring. my e-ring is platinum with 5 small diamonds on each side and the center stone is round. do i still wear them together or what do you girls think?

Re: rings...
my E-ring is white gold and my wedding band is rose gold. They actually complent each other VERY nicely. The white gold absorbes the rose gold and it looks beautiful!

Mybe you can wear your engagement ring on your right hand and the wedding band on your left. They're beautiful rings. That was so nice of him

now having seen the rings, they are lovely! but you're right, they don't match. you should wear your e-ring on your right hand after you're married.
LOVE the rings!!

I actually like the rings together. Your e-ring has the diamonds in the center, and the band has the gold in the center. I kind of like the look.

Re: rings...
if you want you can always get a dressy band--maybe a channel setting with round stones. Just an idea in case you want to dress it up a little but I think they will look very nice together.

Re: rings...
They are beautiful but I dont htink they match. What if you get yourself a nice wedding band like one of the other girls said and wear that one on your right hand

But after seeing the picture of your e-ring and the bands, they don't match at all. And i'm a pain in the *** where i would really want mine to match.
So if it were me, i'd cautiously ask him if he'd mind if you exchanged yours for something that resembles your e-ring more. You never know... he might not care at all! It's worth a shot. Feel him out and see how he responds.

Re: rings...
They are definitely beautiful rings but they don't match. You should where your e-ring on the right and your wedding band on the left. That's what I'm going to do. My FIL's are giving us my FH's grandparents wedding bands. Do you think it's wrong of us to have them dipped in white gold? Neither of us are big on gold jewelry...
