did ne one else pick out there e-ring ? were u present when he bought it??


me and fh both picked out my ring because we were at separate sides of spectrum with our taste.....im really happy that we both went ...i walked away when they were negotiating a price and all that good stuff...he went back another time to pick it up

I had showed him a setting I liked but he ended up getting me something completely different...I am so glad he did b/c I love my ring so much more than what I showed him!

I had no clue and didn't help in picking it out. He did it all on his own and I'm happy with what it!

FH and I went to his Jeweler in the city. i selected my diamond, sapphires and little diamonds and setting. I walked away when they made the arrangements and I was surprised when I got it because I wasn't expecting it for a few more months.

Nope, and I havnt even gotten mine yet.... so I am a bit scared... fh has expensive taste... and me personally, I want something tiny... we will see!

No, I didn't even know he was looking at rings. He picked out the most beautiful ring for me though, its perfect. I never would have doubted he would pick a nice ring for me though, he has amazing taste in jewelry and gift in general! He got me a princess cut, which is what I wanted, cause I am a princess. JK

never even got to show FH what i liked in terms of ring! but he did a great job! and i love that everything was a surprise. FBIL who is getting married in August 2009 brought his GF along to choose the ring and they even chose the date they'd get engaged! i loved not knowing!

my mom gave him hers. and when my daughter if i have a daughter i am going to her bf the ring and ill get an upgrade hehe

I picked mine out on the internet, and had gone looking at rings with my mom. I asked him to take her with him when he was ready to go. So I made sure they were both on top of what I liked. I had no idea though when they went and bought it. They both were lieing straight to my face for over a month!!

Nope, i wanted my ring to be a total surprise!! i told him the kinds i like...just said i like sqaure shape. other then that i wanted him to pick it out himself, it really takes away from the excitement when you pick it out yourself IMO

We went ring shopping and I picked it out but I had no idea that he actually bought it. I AM IN LOVE WITH IT!!!!

We went together. He went by himself a few times and then finally told me he needed help. I love it - and it was actually so much fun picking it out together. And it was a surprise when he finally gave it to me a couple of months later (even though I knew it was floating around our apt. somewhere)

mines a long story...
we went looking together randomly just to show him what I liked and didnt like. he liked plain solitaire and i like both the solitare and this one setting with two princess cut stones on the side of a round stone...the whole band was coverd in pave diamonds so it sparkled from all angels and it had a very detailed antique look to it...I feel in love, but I let FH make the final choice i told him i liked both and that he can decide when hes ready. Well he went back (sooner then i thought) and got the one i fell in love with ( the one with all the diamonds) and I got it and LOVED IT!!! well it turns out that I have very small fingers and the details and stones on the side of the ring were really hurting me..I was getting blisters and calluce on my other finger from running against the ring and it was coming to the point where i couldnt wear it all the time. SOoooo we went back to the lady and after alot of talking and thinking we decided the best thing to do was give it back and get a solitare ring....Now i have a very simple plain white gold tiffany style round solitare and I love it..Its so comfortable esp compared to my other ring that I never have to take it off...unless Im cleaning it of course.
