Just wondering if anyone is or isn't bringing their rings on their honeymoon. We are going to belize and I think I'd rather be safe than sorry...just wanted to get an idea!

I think I'll end up wearing my wedding band but keeping my engagement ring at home. When we went away last summer FH made me leave it home. I was glad I did.

We both wore our rings on our HM, even in the water, no problems at all.

We are taking an adventure honeymoon, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, cave rapelling, cliff diving...so I am leaning towards leaving it at home,

We left them in the hotel safe when we went to the beach, snorkeling, etc. The sand, salt water and chlorine from the pool are not very good for them. But I was glad that I had them to wear at night out to dinner, etc.

we wore our rings the entire trip...swimming and all....I felt that they were just blessed and wanted to have them on our long journey.....FYI....I ran into alot of brides who left hem home and were wishing they didn't...

I went to Belize on my honeymoon and I did not take them. I have a diamond eternity band and a plain gold band, and I wore the plain gold one.
I didn't feel comfortable with the diamonds especially since we had snorkeling, hiking and kayaking on our agenda too.
Enjoy Belize is AMAZING!!!!

we wore our rings, no issues. I did leave my e-ring at home, we were doing a lot of adventurous things and I didn't want it getting in the way. I do wish I had removed my gel-nails before we left though.

I'll take my wedding band, but I'm also leaving my ering home. I see no need to bring it!

I brought mine with me because I didn't want to leave them at my house alone. The room we were in had a safe, so I could put them in the room safe, but I never take them off regardless what I am doing.

We're going to Italy and the thieves and pickpockets are really big there. I'm leaving my engagement ring and diamond wedding band at home. However, we are both going to wear our matching plain platinum bands.

Yes. FH and I have matching plain platinum bands and I also have a channel set diamond eternity band. (I only plan to wear one at a time, though )
ETA - the e-ring and diamond wedding band will stay behind, but the matching bands will come along with us.

going to the greek islands.... I'm wearing both rings. To heck with it.... my theory is: what's the point of having the rings if you're afraid of wearing them at times?
both of our wedding bands are minimalistic... they're simple platinum bands (mine has a very small diamond), so they can be worn even in the lab or while doing adventurous stuff. The e-ring is also no that delicate / ornate....
And if I'm somewhere of questionable safety, simply flip the e-ring so the stone is by the palm of the hand.... le voila! A plain 'band' ring.... no longer a major target.

No. I'm not going to. I love my e-ring too much & it really gets noticed (no...it's not too big & not too expensive, but it's super shiny...nice diamond... & I always get comments).
I've been to Belize. You shouldn't. Why tempt?
PLUS: Why do you NEED to wear a ring on the HM?

I'm not. My mom's coworker owns a house on the beach in Jamaica and when he is there he goes around with a metal detector and he has found a bunch of wedding bands/e-rings on the shore. I am too nervous to, I dont think I want to risk it falling off. When you travel the weather is different and the metals can expand and become loose on your finger and before you know it, its on the ocean floor....I'm too nervous and my FH would kill me if I lost it!
