Eric and I were friends in Stony Brook. I know people always say nice things about people when they die ...'he/she wa sso great... blablabla'... but honestly, if anyone could have made a difference in this world, it would have def. been Eric. His saying was 'making Love my Life'. Eric died in a motorcycle accident May 6th at the young age of 24. His gf is still in the hospital. I am posting this b.c I know there are some girls Liweddings who went to SBU around the same time we did 2000 - 2005. Not that I am saying that there are some people that 'deserve'to die...b.c in theory nobody deserves to die... but it's really hard to understand why someone who is smart, full of life and witty would have to leave us at such a young age. His mission in life was to make a difference, why couldn't some loser good for nothing moron have died instead??? and why the hell are motorcycles still legal??? W T F ? It doesn't take a genius to know that they are dangerous. I mean seriously... do you really need a motorcycle???

I'm sorry...I think his accident happened right up the block from my house. It is sad every morning driving past the memorial....too many of those memorials on our roads.... they should just takes motorcycles off the road. I'm so sorry this happened!

Sorry to hear about your loss! I hate hate hate motorcycles and FH is itchin to get one... ultimately, i can only say so much but the decision doesnt rest in me sooo nothing much i can do about it...
I know how upset you must be but plz dont say that someone else less worthy of life should have died instead... loss affects everyone even the fam of those who might not have much going for them! keep that in mind!

I totally hear ya! I just have some black sheep in my fam (as im sure most fams do) that outsiders would look at and say 'what a worthless pos' but it would still affect us if they had passed away, but i completely understand how you feel... They coulda have made a real difference ... my internship site had rachel's challenge (columbine) come to talk to the kids about what a wonderful person rachele was and she ended up making more of an impact after her death... your friend will continue to make a huge impact on those around him... dont forget that!
