Bringing this over from the other board but has anyone stayed here? Me and FH want to stay here but we heard some mixed reviews causing us to hesitate. I'm dying to book our honeymoon but want to make sure we are choosing the right place.
I have only heard rave reviews about the Riu. What were some of the mix reviews you have heard?
Well I went on trip advisor and I read the bad reviews just to see and there were about 80 of them and I started getting nervous about that. FH wants to go there he's sick of discussing the honeymoon and just wants us to pick. The travel agent is going to send us a few other places to look at this weekend so hopefully a decision will be made soon I feel like im running out of time!
Bucuti and Tara, we are going to that resort in Aruba for our honeymoon November 3. Number one on tripadvisor and my travel agent said she sent a couple there and they loved it.
I know two couples that have been there... Raved about it!!!! Take reviews with a grain of salt, some people use online reviews to complain about everything just because they can sometimes.
I stayed at Riu palace in Aruba and it was beautiful! The resturants at the hotel are excellent & you can eat at I think 3 or 4 types of different restaurants and it's all inclusive .. You will love it there!!

I always go off reviews also... but think about it people are more likely to complain then to compliment.
I go to Aruba often and I personally would not do an all inclusive. Aruba has some of the best restaurants that I have eaten at!
