Has anybody started looking into hotel blocks in Riverhead for next summer? We will have about 100 out of towners so we wanted to get our blocks taken care of before sending out STDs. I am shocked by how high the prices are!!! Over $200 for a room for a Friday night! Does that seem high or have other people gotten similar room block quotes? tia :)
I am blocked at East Wind and Hilton Garden Inn. HGI charges $129 for a Sat in March.
I have a hotel block for the Hilton in Riverhead for May 25 and just for the one day it's $239. The Best Western was going to charge us $249. Granted it is a holiday weekend the prices for hotels were outrageous.
Have you checked out the hyatt? I don't know what their prices are like but they have a place in riverhead.
I just had my wedding out there and none of our hotels were under 200$ except the east wind on a friday night was 169$. We had blocks at the Hyatt and East Wind and a few of our guests stayed at hotel indigo because they found really good rates. Some of our guests also stayed at the Marriott in bell port which is about 15 min away but significantly cheaper!
